A small digital journal dedicated to relay the thoughts and emotions that I feel led to share. I hope it paints a picture of a Christ-follower, a devoted husband madly in love with his wife, and a dedicated father that is continually amazed by the beauty and character of his children.

The threshold has been crossed. Colin prefers to walk over the option of crawling.
We are a couple of weeks away from his first birthday. Each of our children is unique and Colin is no different. While he can be opinionated, I think he prefers to be a calculated, yet laid-back observer. He sees the world with fascination and considers it a benefit that he gets to watch his two older brothers march off in exploratory directions.
He just watches…watches and learns.
I often refer to him as a big teddy bear, because of his squeezable characteristics and portly shape. Also, I am fond of the fact that, as of late, if given the opportunity, he will leave his mom’s arms to come to Daddy. I think he likes hanging with me.
The speed that they grow and mature is such a sobering constant. What one day appears as a trial, when looking back, is an amazing gift…a picture of beautiful characteristics that quickly morph into something else. It is so hard to hold onto moments because of the pace at which our lives run. I want to so badly.
A good-looking boy that has his mom’s joy. Almost a year old.
Colin Joseph.
